The story
I have built a detached house and a summer cabin, and been involved in a few other building projects. Over the years that has added up to a solid set of good machines — from a professional pressure washer to a mitre saw, an air compressor and a pile of cordless tools.
They sit in storage most of the time. If a neighbour needs the same machine once a year, borrowing beats buying a second one. It saves money and it saves space.
Why rent from me
Real tools, not hobby ones
I am not a rental chain. I am one person with decent machines, bought for my own projects and therefore chosen properly.
A fair price
No company margin and no hidden charges. The point is to share the tools, not to run a business. A longer rental costs less per day.
Flexible collection
Collection is from my home in Metsokangas, Oulu. Evenings and weekends are easiest, but mornings and daytime often work too — just ask for a time that suits you. Home delivery in the Oulu area can be arranged separately.
You talk to the owner
No customer service desk. I will help you pick the right tool and show you how it works when you collect it.
If a tool breaks during your job, I refund the rent.
These machines are used, and sometimes something gives out. If a tool stops working in normal use and your job is left unfinished because of it, you pay nothing for the rental. That covers normal wear and a fault in the tool itself. It does not cover damage from an external cause — a drop, a knock, the tool ending up under a car — or deliberate damage or clear misuse.
Environmental sense
Sharing tools is a small environmental act. When several people use the same machine, fewer machines need to be made — and nobody ends up storing one that runs five hours a year.
